We are delighted to share the April 2025 edition of The Plaister Charity Newsletter, marking an important milestone in our journey.
This inaugural issue introduces The Plaister Charity for Crabbet Arabians — a unique organisation dedicated to the care, preservation, and promotion of Crabbet Arabian horses. Inside, we share the story behind our new name and identity, meet the dedicated team caring for our horses, and reflect on a time of significant change and new beginnings for the charity.
Readers are introduced to our horses, including treasured seniors and promising younger stock, alongside a heartfelt tribute remembering the much-loved stallion Imperial Zareef. Our Stud Manager, Peter Robinson, also shares a personal update from life at the stud, offering insight into the daily realities, challenges, and rewards of caring for these special horses.
The newsletter also outlines our plans for the future — from preserving precious bloodlines and supporting welfare cases, to encouraging the next generation of Crabbet breeders.
